Mark your calendars — it’s time to say “I do” all over again on the soft white sands of Siesta Beach.
Couples are invited to celebrate love at the annual Valentine’s Day Siesta Beach non-denominational sunset vow renewal ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 6 p.m. The longtime tradition brings together partners of all ages to reaffirm their commitment against the backdrop of one of Florida’s most iconic beaches.
Judge Stephen Walker will officiate the ceremony, which has been a cherished Siesta Key tradition for more than 35 years. The event is open to all couples, regardless of how long they have been married, and offers a relaxed, romantic way to mark Valentine’s Day with sand between your toes and the sun setting over the Gulf.

Pre-registration is $20 per couple and closes Feb. 8. To register in advance, call 941-861-PARK (7275). On Valentine’s Day, same-day registration will open at 4:30 p.m. at Siesta Beach, with a fee of $30 per couple. Only credit cards will be accepted prior to the 6 p.m. ceremony.
Renewal certificates and flowers will be available for pickup at the event. Couples can also enjoy festive photo opportunities on the beach, along with music and light refreshments, making the evening a memorable celebration of love.
“We’re excited to watch lovebirds renew their vows,” said Destiny Gonzalez, events and programming supervisor for Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources. “This event has become a meaningful Valentine’s Day tradition for our community.”
