Your April Horoscope
By Suzanne Gerber

ARIES (March 21–April 19): Pluto may be slow-moving, but when it makes direct contact with other planets, you’re going to feel it. On April 4th, it aligns with expansive Jupiter for the first time in 12 years, but the two haven’t meet in your professional realm since the American Revolution! Pluto brings profound change and Jupiter represents growth. As they say, anyone can see the challenges, but it’s the wise optimist who spots the opportunities. What new initiative have you been waiting to enact?

TAURUS (April 20–May 20): Finding new ways to stay in touch with your inner circle has been a priority, and you might serendipitously reconnect with someone especially important on the 4th, when Jupiter and Pluto connect in your house of expanded horizons for the first time since the American Revolution! Your comfort-loving sign is happy at Chateau Toro, but here’s your chance to make some long-desired changes to make it even homier once the Sun enters your sign on the 19th.

GEMINI (May 21–June 20): Your ruler, expressive Mercury, is back to “full speed ahead” and is moving forward at a quite clip. Since it rules how you think and communicate, it’s important for you to be honest about your feelings, but also to keep a positive attitude for your sake and others’. No need to stop being innovative about work and your pursuits. In fact, when Mercury tours your tech center from the 10th to the 27th, you might come up with a brilliant new strategy!

CANCER (June 21-July 22): You prefer to socialize in person and not limit your PDAs, but lately you’ve become very creative about keeping your personal and social interactions authentic. If you’ve been uncomfortable learning new technology (like video conferencing platforms), this is a perfect time to let someone walk you through it. The Sun enters your digital domain on the 19th, followed by communicator Mercury on the 27th. This is the time to get really familiar with all kinds of new apps!

LEO (July 23–August 22): This month, tackle those organizational challenges you keep putting off for a “rainy day.” It might be sunny out, but head right for that closet or desktop on the 4th, when Jupiter and Pluto connect for the first time in 12 years—and their first meetup in practical Capricorn and your systematic sixth house in centuries! You might have a flash of professional inspiration on the 26th, when your ruler, the Sun, aligns with game-changing Uranus in your career corner!

VIRGO (August 23-September 22): If there’s one thing your sign excels at (and of course, Virgo, there are many), it’s making the best possible use of your time. If you’re at home and your interactions are restricted, take advantage by throwing yourself into your hobbies and those creative projects that you never have room for. On the 4th, when Jupiter and Pluto form an exceeding rare connection in your inventive, artistic zone, get out your watercolors or guitar and tap into the muse!

LIBRA (September 23–October 22): Your aesthetic, upbeat sign always finds the silver lining in every storm cloud, and right now, Libra, you might be too busy rearranging furniture, hanging new art or painting the bedroom to even notice all the hubbub happening around you! A great day for a significant change in your home environment is the 4th, when expansive Jupiter and transformative Pluto form a super-rare mashup in your domestic quarters. Need inspo? That’s what Pinterest was invented for!

SCORPIO (October 23–November 21): Couples may already be connecting in new and different ways as a result of more at-home time together. April is actually a great month for resurrecting favorite old activities, whether board games, card games or starting a creative venture. The radiant Sun enters your partnership zone on the 19th, then fist-bumps game-changing Uranus there on the 26th. This could bode well for singles, especially if you’re being more open-minded with your right-swiping!

SAGITTARIUS (November 22–December 21): Get your house in order—literally and metaphorically—on the 3rd, when expressive Mercury forms its annual meetup with soulful Neptune in Pisces and your domestic quarters. Have you wanted to create a space to work out in or meditate? This is the ideal time to make those shifts. And when the Sun enters your organized sector on the 19th, you can dive into that major decluttering project you’ve been waiting to do since…forever!

CAPRICORN (December 22–January 19): A super-rare opportunity to do something wildly out of character comes on the 4th, when expansive Jupiter and transformative Pluto align in your sign, something that hasn’t happened since before the American Revolution! It’s a time to declare your own independence from a limiting situation, even if you’re as nervous about it as you are excited. And when the year’s only Taurus new moon lights up your creativity zone on the 22nd, do something that makes your soul smile!

AQUARIUS (January 20–February 18): Normally, you’re pretty clear about what you’re thinking and feeling and have little trouble expressing it. But on the 4th, when supersizer Jupiter forms a super-rare conjunction with shadowy Pluto in your unconscious zone, things might be kicking around that you can’t quite bring to clear awareness. No need to let things fester, Aquarius. Talking to a close friend, coach or therapist can help you unravel these feelings. And you’ll feel much lighter once you get to the bottom of this!

PISCES (February 18–March 20): You won’t have to go looking for inspiration on the 3rd, when expressive Mercury swings into its annual mashup with your ruler, soulful Neptune, in Pisces. Your creative right brain will be perfectly in sync with your linear, logical left, and you might hit on a brilliant idea that could actually be profitable! But wait until Mercury enters your financial sector (10th to 27th) to see if it really is.
