ARIES (March 21–April 19): Romance reboot! Whether you’re single or attached, October should sizzle, thanks to both love planets (Venus and Mars)—as well as communicator Mercury and the Sun—traipsing through your partnership-oriented chart sectors. Couples can deepen their bond, and if you’re looking for amour, double down on your efforts, perhaps frequenting new venues or checking out new dating sites. The Scorpio new moon on the 27th could be especially auspicious (wink-wink)!
TAURUS (April 20–May 20): Finally! After nearly five months of back-spinning, transformational Pluto ends a nerve-racking retrograde in your expansive ninth house on the 3rd. What were some of those dreams and plans you moved to the back burner last spring? Dust them off, give them a quick once-over, making any adjustments that are needed, but then, hit the gas! On the 8th, your ruler, amorous Venus, enters your relationship zone, turning up the heat in that area.
GEMINI (May 21–June 20): If you’ve felt a bit isolated lately, you’ll back to your high-spirited ways after the 3rd, when game-changing Pluto ends a five-month retrograde in your intimacy sector. An honest conversation might be all it takes to shore up a wobbly relationship. The devil really is in the details this month as your ruler, focused Mercury, moves into your painstaking sixth house. But when it shifts into reverse (retrograde) on the 31st, your best-laid plans might go sideways for three weeks.
CANCER (June 21-July 22): An intimate connection that got shaky could suddenly turn into your dream relationship after the 3rd, when transformational Pluto ends its annual retrograde in your dynamic-duos zone. On the 27th, a new moon of fresh starts in Scorpio and your zone d’amour rekindles your personal life, which for singles could indicate the beginning of a new union. Scorpios mate for life, so take your time getting to know a new person or getting your “tried and true” union back on track.
LEO (July 23–August 22): With your ruler, the radiant Sun, beaming its rays in your communication center, you’ll have people’s rapt attention. So what message do you want to broadcast? A new business venture could take off around the Aries full moon on the 15th: Are you making the most of social media as well as neighborhood resources? Watch for nitpicking (your own or someone else’s) when the Sun clashes with master manipulator Pluto on the 7th.
VIRGO (August 23-September 22): Money’s on your mind this month as the creative Sun and action planet Mars march through your house of finances and security. Mars can make you twitchy, but don’t do anything rash. (Not that your cautious sign is likely to!) With your ruling planet, analytical Mercury, lighting up your communication sector, you’ve got the gift of gab. But when it turns retrograde on the 31st for three weeks, definitely think before you speak—or post!
LIBRA (September 23–October 22): Lady Luck has your back this month, so if you’re on the fence about something new or accepting an offer, the answer is probably “yes.” Passionate Mars and the radiant Sun are in your sign, and your ruler, auspicious Venus, will enter your money zone on the 8th, followed by a new moon of fresh starts on the 27th. A calculated gamble could turn out quite well! And mid-month (the 13th), a full moon illuminates your partnership zone. Could things get any better than that?
SCORPIO (October 23–November 21): Don’t run to the doctor if your energy spikes and flags this month! With your co-ruler Mars and the life-sustaining Sun in low-power mode most of October, you’ll always be happy to come home and chill out. But hyperactive Mercury and social Venus enter your sign on the 3rd and 8th respectively, making you crave stimulating company. The trick is finding a balance that works for you—and not apologizing when you need to make a quick exit!
SAGITTARIUS (November 22–December 21): Your urge to socialize may run hot and cold this month as a few planets duke it out for your attention. Energizing Mars and the fun-loving Sun are in your group-activity zone, making you the life of every party, but with gracious Venus and chatty Mercury in your private twelfth house most of the month—as well as a potent new moon on the 27th—you’ll need plenty of downtime. Don’t feel guilty for taking what you need!
CAPRICORN (December 22–January 19): Summer is officially over, meaning you can ignore all the great local distractions and focus on what a Capricorn loves most: your career! With galvanizing Mars and the creative Sun gracing your professional tenth house most of the month, you’ll have limitless energy and inspiration to work on passion projects. Even if you’re not employed, you’ll find yourself involved in more public activities. A new moon in your social sector on the 27th could spark an exciting new interest (or love interest)!
AQUARIUS (January 20–February 18): Your biggest “problem” this month might be figuring out to cram in all the opportunities that are presented to you! With energizing Mars and the radiant Sun in your zone of travel and adventure, you could find yourself booking last-minute tickets to a dream destination. And yet with inventive Mercury and creative Venus firing up your professional zone—along with a new moon of fresh starts on the 27th—you may feel like the hottest spot on Google’s green earth is SRQ!
PISCES (February 18–March 20): October is all about adventure and passion, with the only limit being how much you can handle! With the loving Sun and galvanizing Mars heating up your house of sensuality and intimacy, you might never remove the “Do Not Disturb” sign! At the same time, outgoing Mercury and amorous Venus are traipsing through your sector of travel and expansion—and a new moon really gets the party going on the 27th. Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams Pisces: the bigger the better!
