The legendary Beach Club in the Siesta Key Village is closing Sept. 19 until likely the first week of October for some substantial remodeling. The management promises several surprises but is not revealing many details, but a new bar and VIP seating appear to be on the list.
Located at 5151 Ocean Blvd. the club has existed since 1947, making it the Key’s oldest tavern.
