Beach University sessions come to a close March 30

This year’s Beach University schedule come to a close at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March, 30 when Matt Brady, environmental specialist with Sarasota County, gives his presentation entitled Fire in Coastal Ecosystems.

The free event takes place at the pavilion on Siesta Beach, 948 Beach Rd.

The ninth-annual Liberty Litter Cleanup will be held throughout Sarasota County, including Siesta Beach, from 7 to 9 a.m. July 5.
