Giant Shrimp Plant

Giant shrimp (Barleia Micans) bush is a great winter bloomer for large areas in sun or shade. The bright lemon yellow clusters of blooms and bright green 6″ leaves on the small shrub are an excellent addition to South Florida landscape.

This small, drought resistance bush get about 3 feet tall and 3′ feet wide. A bonus is it attaches pollinator Butterflies and Bees. Another bonus is these beautiful plants bloom several times a year.

Currently blooming in the Falling Waters Garden at Sarasota Garden Club located at 1131 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota, FL.
