Nominations are now being accepted through Dec. 14 for various awards presented by the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber recognizes its members with an outstanding Small Business, Large Business and Businessperson of the Year for their achievements and contributions.
A new-member business will also be recognized for its extensive engagement with the chamber in 2023.
The Shining Star Award is given to an individual for exceptional service by a front-line tourism employee — the reason visitors return to Siesta Key time and again.
The Community Partner Award is given to an individual for professional service and community engagement to better the quality of life on Siesta Key.
The Volunteer of the Year recognition is presented to a citizen for his or her initiative and personal involvement to improve the Siesta Key community.
The Service & Leadership Award is given to an individual or organization for demonstrating exceptional leadership, time and effort devoted to service projects benefiting the Siesta Key community.
The Shawn McLoughlin Siesta Selfless Award is given to an individual in recognition of selfless acts of kindness, generosity, commitment and talent to the betterment of others.
Chamber member businesses, their customers and employees may submit nominations. Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged. Completed nominations must be received no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14. Use one form per entry. Nominees will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Demonstration of excellence in business or profession
- Demonstration of chamber involvement
- Demonstration of community service
Awards will be presented at the Siesta Key Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 at Marina Jack.
