The Sarasota Board of County Commissioners will be voting on a request for a special exception by Gilligan’s Island Bar & Grill to extend its hours for live music until as late as 2 a.m.
The meeting is at 9 a.m. Jan. 31 in the board’s chambers at 1660 Ringling Blvd. in downtown Sarasota.
The county’s planning commission supported the request with a 5-0 vote Dec. 1.
Gilligan’s is located at 5253 Ocean Blvd. in the Siesta Key Village.
