The deadline to request that a vote-by-mail ballot be mailed to you for the Sarasota County primary election is 5 p.m. Sat., Aug. 13.

How to return your ballot:

Returning Your Vote-by-Mail Ballot By Mail

• One Forever Stamp or $.60 postage

• If returning by mail, the US Postal Service suggests mailing your vote-by-mail

ballot no later than Tues., Aug.16 (one week prior to election day)

• Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by 7 p.m. election day (Tues., Aug. 23)

to be counted

Drop Off Ballot Inside Any Sarasota County Elections Office July 14 – Aug. 23

• July 14 – Aug. 12, during regular business hours, M-F, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Aug. 13 – 22 daily (including weekends), 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Aug. 23 (election day), 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
