Over 350 couples from all over the globe participated in this year‘s annual Valentine’s Day, “Say I Do, Again” wedding vow renewal ceremony on spectacular Siesta Beach, the No. 1 beach in America. Couples enjoyed a beautiful backdrop to express their continuing love and commitment to each other. They renewed their vows during this non-denominational sunset ceremony and enjoyed wedding-themed refreshments. Couples received a beautiful certificate and other gifts as they celebrate together. The event is organized by Sarasota Parks, Recreation & Natural Resources.
12th Judicial Circuit Court Judge, Debra Johnes Riva led the ceremony as the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. Johnes and her husband also renewed their vows at this year’s event. Several photo-op stations were added this year to eliminate long lines.

Navy veteran, Carlisle and Claudette Beasley were recognized and received a gift for being the longest married couple participating in this year’s vow renewal ceremony.
First time participants, John and Fran Vanshoor anxiously await the start of the wedding vow renewal ceremony. After moving from New York to Sarasota 20 years ago, John finally caved after Fran asked him for many years in a row if they could go to this event. They’ve been married 28 years.
