The annual International Coastal Cleanup event is 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at various locations throughout Sarasota County — including Siesta Key’s Turtle Beach and Siesta Beach.
This is a good opportunity for students to earn volunteer service hours for school related requirements.
Pre-registration is required and will be available until noon on Wednesday, Sept. 13. No day-of walkups are allowed to participate.
