Sarasota County District 4 Commissioner Joe Neunder will be a guest speaker at a Feb. 25 event hosted by Midnight Pass Society II — the group working to restore the tidal connection known as Midnight Pass that used to flow between Siesta Key and Casey Key.
A gathering will be held at The Point restaurant, 135 Bayview Drive in Osprey, from noon to 4 p.m. and will feature updates on the project along with drink specials and a 50/50 raffle.
