Six new pickleball courts are now open for use at Siesta Beach, 948 Beach Rd. They are free and operate on a first-come, first-use basis.
Also, the existing tennis courts have been resurfaced.
The project, facilitated by Sarasota County, began Sept. 18 and was completed Oct. 10.
