While Siesta Key certainly has it all, a visit to both downtown Sarasota and the St. Armands Circle shopping district adjacent to Lido Beach are worthy destinations. A shuttle service has made it easier during this busy spring break season.
Now running is a free open-air shuttle called the Bay Runner. It goes back and forth over the Ringling Bridge from Main Street in downtown to St. Armands and Lido Beach. It operates daily until midnight.
It is also handicap accessible.
