Siesta Key Residents Witness Homecoming

What an honor it was for my wife Sandy and me
to witness the triumphant return of our
grandson, Hospital Corpsman Third Class,
Taylor Larson and his crew after nine months of
combat off the coast of Iraq. He is one of more than 300 Missile into an ISIS stronghold. Tears of patriotism and pride roll down my cheek as I write about this. If you have one drop of patriotic DSCN8101
blood in your body, and ever have
the opportunity, you don’t want to
miss a welcome home like this.
Forever etched in my heart and mind
are the hundreds of family members
cheering and waving US flags
while music played in the background
as this U.S. Navy battle ship slowly
crept dockside. May God bless and
guide our servicemen and women all DSCN8126
over the globe. Larson is the grandson
of Siesta Key residents, Trebor and Sandy
Note: Siesta Sand wishes to thank all our
brave men and women for their great
service to our country.
