the beaches.  This photo shows what can happen to trash that's not disposed of properly.  Even an empty plastic bag or bottle can be fatal for our sea turtles as they mistake floating plastic bags and empty plastic bottles as jelly fish, one of their dietary staples.  They will ingest the bags, choke and eventually die.
