Sarasota County announced on March 23 that it had removed red tide-related warnings from all 16 of its public beaches, including Siesta Key’s Siesta Beach and Turtle Beach.

Turtle Beach has seen warning signage off and on dating back to Oct. 16. On Feb. 8, all county beaches were subject to an advisory warning due to issues with air quality and dead fish.

Recent tests showed no unacceptable levels of bacteria cells, resulting in the warnings being dropped.
