Sandbag distribution locations set

In anticipation of the possible arrival of Tropical Storm Ian, which is projected to reach hurricane status, sandbag operations will be available for Sarasota County residents on Monday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the following locations:

Twin Lakes Park, 6700 Clark Road, Sarasota
Ed Smith Stadium, 2700 12th St., Sarasota
South County Fleet Services, 4571 SR 776/Englewood Road, Venice

Residents are limited to 10 bags per vehicle.
