The Sarasota Fine Art Show by Hot Works has a new venue this year, relocating to the Sarasota Art Museum and bringing a juried fine art and fine craft show to one of the city’s premier cultural destinations.
The curated event features accomplished artists from across the country presenting original, handmade work. All pieces are available for purchase directly from the artists, offering visitors the opportunity to meet the creators and learn about their techniques and inspiration.
Artwork includes painting, sculpture, glass, jewelry, photography and mixed media, with a range of styles and price points designed to appeal to both experienced collectors and first-time buyers.
Continuing Hot Works’ emphasis on arts education, the show will include a call for youth artists for students in grades K–8, or ages 5 to 13. The program allows young artists to display their work in a professional art show setting.
Admission is free. Parking is available with a suggested donation. Organizers invite the community to enjoy a weekend of art and creativity at the show’s new location.
The Sarasota Fine Art Show runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the museum parking lot, 1001 S. Tamiami Trail. Additional information is available at hotworks.org.
