The Sarasota Board of County Commissioners will be voting on revised plans for Benderson Development’s Siesta Promenade project at its Sept. 27 meeting. It will be held at 9 a.m. at the county’s administration building, 1660 Ringling Blvd.

The meeting was originally set for Aug. 30 but was cancelled due to Hurricane Idalia.

The project, located at the northwest corner of U.S. 41 and Stickney Point Road, will feature 414 apartments and/or condominiums, a 130-room hotel, 133,000 square feet of retail space, and 7,000 square feet of office space.

It was first approved in December of 2018.
