Public bathrooms in the Siesta Key Village will be a topic of discussion at the Feb. 22 meeting of the Sarasota Board of County Commissioners. It is set for 9 a.m. at the county’s Administrative Center, 1660 Ringling Blvd.

Commissioner Mark Smith will address the subject during his commissioner report toward the end of the meeting. The Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce has been pushing for the addition of a restroom, and Beach Bazaar ownership has pledged to provide space on its property near the gazebo.
