soulQ: Dear Donnarose, I’m having a hard time feeling happy. So many people around me seem to be living the life and are so happy. And here I am going in the opposite direction. What am I doing wrong? ~Thanks, Rina

A: ~ “Things always get brighter, when our vibration is higher.” ~Donnarose Melvin

Well, I try to refrain from labeling things as right or wrong, good or bad. So instead, ask yourself the question, “How can I raise my vibrational frequency to a higher level, which as a result, will enable me to attract people, things, and situations to match it, as well as connect to my inner happiness?” Raising your vibration is the ultimate key. It also facilitates receiving Divine guidance. To raise your vibration, start by practicing keeping your thoughts and actions in the light. Some examples are: Only thinking love-based thoughts about yourself; Forgiving all those who did you wrong, including yourself; Allowing yourself to be happy for other people’s success; Meditate-there are tons of videos on the internet; Yoga; Getting out in nature and breathing in Divine guidance, while exhaling old negative thought patterns; Play music, dance and sing; Surround yourself with positive people and environments; And finally, setting some goals by doing something you’re passionate about as a job or volunteering. And each step forward, praise yourself, and compete with yourself to do better each day. Meaning, instead of comparing your current progress to someone else’s success, compare it to your last successful step forward, and strive to do even better. And in time, if you consider all the above, you will definitely find yourself feeling just as happy as those around you.~♥

Q: Dear Donnarose, my husband and I are finally doing things on our own, taking vacations, etc., without our kids who are grown and out of the home. But I continue to feel some guilt and find it hard to stop watching their every move. Please advise. Best regards, Sheila

A: ~ “Trust that you’ve done enough, and enjoy the retirement you’ve earned. And the freedom you give your kids, will allow them to show what they’ve learned.” ~Donnarose Melvin

You’ve done a great job with your kids. It’s now time to feel proud watching them all apply what they’ve learned from you and your husband. Feeling guilty usually stems from a belief you were taught or picked up along the way regarding your kids, and how you’re supposed to be as a parent. It’s okay to release with peace that belief as well as the need to keep a tight hold on your kids. It’s not like you abandoned them. You’ll be there to catch them should they fall.   Also, try to replace worrying, with being responsibly concerned. The latter is at a higher frequency. Worrying energy towards others is toxic, and tends to do more harm than good. And since your kids have moved away, it’ll greatly help to put your trust in a higher power to watch over them. As I always say, our Angels can always do a better job watching over our loved ones, as they’re not in a restricted physical body like we are. And lastly, think of your fun retirement plans you are now enjoying as a good example for your kids to follow. They see all your hard work paying off and being free to enjoy the rewards. What better example is there than that? Give yourself a big pat on the back, and enjoy. ~ ♥
