There will be a virtual training session for volunteers looking to be bird stewards at our local beach nesting sites, hosted by Kylie Wilson of Audubon Florida, at 7 p.m. March 23. The training will be recorded so if you cannot attend you can still access the information.
Wilson works with many birds that frequent Siesta Key, including snowy plovers.
