The project team working to improve Siesta Key’s Grand Canal through the installation of mini reefs has produced an underwater video that captures life below the docks where the reefs are present.
Entitled “Sounds of the Mini Reef,” it can be viewed at: youtu.be/UarSh3B8Niw.
“The team was amazed by the sounds we discovered coming from the oysters, shrimp and clams beneath our feet,” project leader Jean Cannon said.
Team members Becky Seiner and Phil Chiccohio created the video.
